Lorne Elliott
The Dartmouth Heritage Museum is overjoyed to present the Lorne Elliott Comedy and Cake Auction Fundraiser on May 2nd. Lorne Elliott presents a show like no other combining songs, monologues and one-liners all wrapped up in a very special show of comedy and music. His material is totally original, entertaining, foolish and uplifting! Lorne is best known for his comedy show that played for 11 seasons on the CBC Madly Off In All Directions. The show included taped concerts across Canada. As a playwright Lorne wrote the award winning The Night The Racoons Went Berserk; Culture Shock; and Tourist Trap. Lorne received the 2012 Playwrights Guild of Canada New Musical Play Award for his play Jamie Rowsell Lives.
Besides laughing the night away with Lorne, come prepared to bid on delectable cakes decorated and donated by local chefs. We promise a really good time and you’ll be supporting the Museum!!
