NORTH of AMERICA - 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW

Seminal Halifax indie-rockers NORTH of AMERICA are back from a long hiatus to shake off the dust and blow some speakers in celebration of their 10-year anniversary. Six albums, countless tours, and one van fire later, the NORTS are playing two shows in Halifax on December 23 at The Marquee and an all-ages show December 27 at the North Street Church.
These shows will not only mark a reunion of the band but will feature all five members of NORTH of AMERICA including original guitarist and founding member J. LaPointe. The back catalogue will be heavily mined.
NORTH of AMERICA has been one of Halifax’s most loved, imitated, revered, and creative bands over the past 10 years. Since the band’s never-official hiatus in 2003, members have gone on to form new bands such as The Got To Get Got, VKNGS, The Holy Shroud, INSTRUMENTS, and Baby Control.
