You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown
The famous comic strip 'Peanuts' by Charles M. Schulz is about to come to life this May when Head First Productions premieres 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown' at The Guild in Charlottetown.
This musical comedy features the characters Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, Sally Brown and Snoopy as they venture into an average day in the life for Charlie following his multiple mishaps and misfortunes. The music composed by Clark Gesner is sure to have you singing right after you leave the theatre.
Taking on the title role is Saskatchewan native, David Light. Light's extensive resume includes two US National tours of Broadway's hit show, 'Billy Elliot' as well as countless shows from coast to coast. Island native Jessica Gallant will play Sally Brown while fellow islander Noah MacDougall will portray Schroeder and take on the task of music director. Other cast members include Ontario's Andrew German as Linus and Brieonna Locche and Tyrell Witherspoon as Lucy and Snoopy. Locche and Witherspoon are co-?producing the project alongside MacDougall, as well as directing and choreographing respectively.
