John Connolly
John Connolly is thrilled to return to the Victoria Playhouse, one of his favourite venues and the site of his first professional show in 2005. “I feel a deep connection to the Victoria Playhouse.” says John. “I think of the playhouse as an instrument in itself and I truly love singing there.” His concert will be an intimate acoustic affair supported by guitar-slinger extraordinaire Nick Gauthier. John’s folk musical based on the life of Terry Fox, “Marathon of Hope” received its inaugural professional production in late 2013. A full-scale professional production is slated to open in Toronto for an extended run in the summer of 2015.
