Vicious: "The Beast from the East" CANCELLED
VICIOUS is a band originally from the hallowed village of Kingston, NS; now based out of Halifax, NS. The "Beast from Canada's East" was born in the depths of Jake Gracie's basement out of jam sessions in late September 2011. Originally a power-trio, the band played their first gig on November 28th, 2011. They released a 5-song E.P. on July 10th, 2012 entitled "Bring Down the Demo" to great reviews. The band would undergo various line-up changes, becoming a 4-piece and eventually a 5-piece while recording their debut album "First Drop of Venom", which was released on April 26th, 2014. Over the next 2 months following the album's release, the entire band(with the exception lead vocalist/drummer Jake Gracie) left for various reasons. Gracie quickly recruited friend and fan Garth Potter on bass and a session guitarist to play a cross-Canada tour in support of the album called "Devastation to the Nation" during the month of June, 2014. Upon returning home to Halifax, Devin Cashin rejoined the band to create a power trio once more. They continue to break genre-barriers with each show they play and leave you in a state of mind that can be described in no other way but ROCKED.
